Therapeutic Plasma Exchange (TPE)

TPE involves removing blood plasma and replacing it with albumin. Originally theorized to work by adding "young" factors (parabiosis), current consensus suggests it works by diluting "old", pro-aging factors (SASP, senescent signaling) in the blood.
